Find out more at an introduction session on Wednesday
Hammersmith Community Gardens Association is hosting its monthly introduction session for people interested in becoming volunteers on Wednesday 2 October at Phoenix School Farm, from 10am till 11.30am.
This will be an opportunity to find out more about the association's volunteering projects, how you can get involved, as well as an opportunity to visit its sites. It will be an informal session with the chance to meet current and new volunteers.

It is followed by a monthly volunteer gardening day at Loris Gardens and weekly twilight gardening sessions at Phoenix School Farm in Bloemfontein Road. In October these sessions are on Thursday 3, 10 and 17 October.
The association says Volunteers taking part will undertake seasonal jobs on the farm such as planting and harvesting, there will also be family activities.

There is no need to book for these gardening sessions, just turn up, stay for an hour or stay for the whole session.
