Celebrate 100 local people's environmental success stories
On March 8 at Ravenscourt Glasshouses The Mayor, Councillor Belinda Donovan, will be joining Hammersmith Community Gardens Association and guests celebrating 100 local people gaining new environmental skills as part of the Get Out There! Project.
In addition to celebrating the achievements of this project and all of those who took part there will be willow crafts, children’s activities, guided bird and bat walks and more! Feel free to drop by when you can between 1pm and 7.30pm or stay for the whole afternoon! Ravenscourt Glasshouses are located next to the cafe in Ravenscourt Park

4-5pm – Guided Bird Walk of Ravenscourt Park
5.30-6.30pm – Guided Bat Walk of Ravenscourt Park
6.30pm – BBQ
Anyone interested in gardening is invited to come along and stay for an hour or for the day.
The association says regular upkeep of the gardens involves tasks such as planting, watering, mowing, weeding, pond clearance and wildlife surveys as well as seasonal activities such as pruning, bulb planting and leaf sweeping.
