Music By the Bridge is Back

New series of recitals at All Saints Church

The 2010 series of Friday evening recitals called Music By the Bridge begins at All Saints Church on January 22.

The first recital will feature The Gentlemen of All Saints Choir performing twentieth century choral works by Durufle and Poulenc

It will be followed on February 5 by pianist Catherine Leonard performing works by Handel, Bach and Mozart and will continue on the first Friday of each month through till summer.

These recitals begin at 7.15 pm and last 45 minutes. Entry is free with a retiring collection and wine will be available.  All proceeds benefit the development of the music programme at All Saints Fulham, by Putney Bridge.

Performers include musicians from within the All Saints Fulham community, and elsewhere, who are embarking upon their musical careers. All are giving their time free of charge.

This makes these recitals a great opportunity to hear the next generation of musicians before they are too busy playing at concert halls throughout the UK.
