Make&Bake Present Double Bill at Riverside
Two rarely performed one-act plays by great playwrights
Young theatre company Make&Bake Productions present a double bill of rarely performed one-act plays by two of the 20th century’s greatest playwrights at Riverside Studios' Studio 3 from October 25 through till November 13. The plays are:
Blind Date by Horton Foote
A hilarious debacle ensues when Sarah Nancy is introduced to her peculiar date for the evening, in Foote’s masterful Texan comedy.

27 Wagons Full of Cotton by Tennessee Williams
Flora entertains an unexpected guest whilst her husband is out ginning cotton in Williams’ devastating look at love and cruelty.
Presenting the European premiere of the Oscar and Pulitzer Prize-winning Foote alongside Williams in his centenary year - each play offers a very different take on that distinctly American idea: The Good Neighbour Policy.

Make&Bake Productions
Make&Bake produces theatre which challenges the conventional through collaboration and cake sales. Make&Bake seek out great writing that asks big questions by distilling extraordinary perceptions to produce real life on stage. This includes great new voices, or the great works of those we thought we knew. The Co-Directors
Zoe Ingenhaag is Associate Producer at the Tricycle Theatre where she has produced Olivier Award-nominated productions such as THE GREAT GAME: AFGHANISTAN and WOMEN, POWER AND POLITICS. She has also dramaturged for the Tricycle, The Old Red Lion, Theatre503 and the Etcetera Theatre. Zoe is co-founder of Make&Bake Productions.
Suresh Patel studied at Cambridge and trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, New York. Suresh is a Tutor in Acting at Identity Drama School, Visiting Lecturer at Birmingham University and has taught at Rose Bruford College and Kingston University. Recent directorial work includes THE SHOW OF THE NIGHT (Latitude Festival, Lion & Unicorn), HYDRA/TYPHON (The Arcola) and THE WEDDING (The Cockpit).
