Lyric's Noises Off to Transfer to the West End from September
As last few tickets remain for comedy revival's final shows in Hammersmith
After completing a hugely successful extended run at the Lyric Hammersmith, Michael Frayn’s award winning play Noises Off is transferring to the West End.
The transfer is second time round for the backstage comedy, which follows behind the scenes shenanigans during the production of a saucy farce called Nothing On.
The original production of Noises Off first opened at the Lyric Hammersmith in 1982 and went on to transfer to the West End where it ran until 1987.
The original cast included Patricia Routledge, Paul Eddington and Nicky Henson.
The new revival, directed by Jeremy Herrin, will star current cast members Meera Syal, Lloyd Owen, Daniel Rigby and Simon Rouse, with further West End casting to be announced. The revival has designs by Max Jones.
It will open at the Garrick Theatre in Charing Cross Theatre from 27 September to 4 January and tickets are now on sale here.
In the meantime, Noises Off continues until this Saturday, 3 August nightly at 7.30pm with matinees on Wednesday and Saturday at 2.30pm, with the last few tickets remaining for each performance. You can book tickets here.

A second production which had a highly successful extended run at the Lyric earlier this year, Ghost Stories, is also opening in the West End this autumn.
