Say Goodbye to Dick Whittington

Some tickets still available for final performances of Lyric's panto

A limited number of tickets are still available for the final performances of the The Lyric Hammersmith's panto wh Dick Whittington And His Cat.

The last shows are on January 2 and 3 at 2pm and 6pm.

Dick Whittington and his Cat, which has had four star reviews and been described as "magic" by The Times and "warm and witty" by the Daily Telegraph, reunited the writer-director team from last year’s box office hit Jack and the Beanstalk.

Award-winning playwright Tom Wells (Jumpers for Goalposts, The Kitchen Sink) put a hilarious new spin on the classic Dick Whittington story and director Dan Herd also returned, bringing his years of panto experience to this production, having been Associate Director for three previous Lyric pantomimes before directing last year’s hit show.

Young Dick Whittington has set off from Hull in order to find his fortune in London, but with the evil Queen Rat controlling the city Dick must join forces with his reluctant sidekick Cat and set off on a quest to defeat her that takes him from Hammersmith to the North Pole and back.

Fresh for 2014, the show is full of colourful characters, debut alive music, lots of laughs and the very evil Queen Rat.

Tickets cost between £15 and £35 and you can book them online or call The Lyric's box office 020 8741 6850
