With new version of Jack and the Beanstalk and the return of Father Christmas
The Lyric Hammersmith is once again presenting two seasonal shows this Christmas - new panto Jack and the Beanstalk and the return of Raymond Briggs' Father Christmas.
Magic beans, a journey to an enchanted kingdom in the clouds, an evil giant, and some zumba, Jack and the Beanstalk has all the ingredients of a classic panto.
The Lyric panto is back in the Main House with regular favourite Steven Webb who played Buttons in last year's record-breaking hit Cinderella. Steven, who also joins the team as Creative Associate is joined by award-winning playwright Tom Wells and director Dan Herd.
Jack and the Beanstalk will run from November 23 through till January 4, with some performances already sold out. The panto is recommended for kids aged 6 and upwards and you can find out more and book tickets here or call the box office on 020 8741 6850.
The Lyric's Studio meanwhile is hosting a Pins and needles Production of Raymond Briggs' beloved Father Christmas, following its sell-out success last year. The 50 minute show is suitable for children under six, with some shows also offering kids a chance for Messy Play and runs from November 22 - January 4, with many shows already sold out. You can find further information and book your ticket online here or call the box office on 020 8741 6850.
