Lady Margaret School Jubilee Garden Party

Mixing vintage classics with creativity

Lady Margaret School in Fulham, London is once again inviting the wider community to their annual Garden Party on Saturday 23 June and have made sure there is something for everyone in their tranquil courtyard garden.

Younger visitors will find fun activities including a teddy tombola, toys and games galore. Older children can try the inflatables, shop for crafts and gifts inside the school, bag a bike and enjoy the barbecue, strawberries and cream and lashings of lemonade.

Entrepreneurial pupils in Year 9 will be putting skills learned as part of an Enterprise Scheme into practice at the Jubilee Garden Party. The girls have been busy creating items in design and technology classes and will be setting their stalls out on the lawn of the school.

Guests can also try to win-a-bottle, bid in the silent auction, buy vintage bargains and browse for plants, books and bric-a-brac. There will be fabulous cakes, an extra special Jubilee Tea on the Terrace and a bar to toast the Royal anniversary. The Grand Draw will be at 2.45pm. Proceeds from the day will go towards the school. All welcome!

Lady Margaret School is a Voluntary Aided Church of England secondary school for girls in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.
