Happy Times nursery to present Ready Teddy Cook to teach parents how to prepare time-saving, nutritious meals for young children
Parents in the Hammersmith and Chiswick areas will be in for a treat on Saturday 25 October when Happy Times opens the doors of its day nursery to present Ready Teddy Cook.
Two chefs from leading catering company, Holroyd-Howe, will battle it out in front of a live audience to prepare a 2-course meal for a one and three year old. Compere, Jonathon Bradley of Holroyd-Howe, will also give handy hints on how to prepare healthy, balanced meals for under fives, taking into account the busy working lives of many parents today.
The courses are being offered in response to the increasing need of parents to find quick, healthy solutions to feed children without resorting to pre-packaged convenience meals. Jonathon Bradley of Holroyd-Howe commented; A balanced diet from an early age will not only teach children good eating habits, but will also be the basis for a lifetime of good health.
Happy Times has already successfully run courses for parents on paediatric first aid and baby massage.
The two Ready Teddy Cook shows will take place at 10.30am and again at 14.30pm. Places are free but are limited and must be pre-booked. Courses will take place at Happy Times nursery, (within the grounds of) Ravenscourt Park Hospital, Ravenscourt Park, W6 0TN. Any donations received on the day will be for the benefit of the Mayors Appeal Fund to support Hammersmith borough residents in need.
