Hammersmith and Fulham's Mayor, Councillor Andrew Johnson is inviting everyone to Hammersmith Town Hall on Friday April 17 to join in the Festival Tea Dance.
The tea dance, which has become an annual highlight in the spring calendar, attracted over 300 ballroom dancing fans in 2008.
Cllr Johnson says: “The tea dance is always a wonderful occasion and I can’t wait to put my glad rags on and have a good jive!
"I know there are plenty of people who enjoy ballroom dancing, so make sure you order your tickets well in advance.”
The dance will begin at 12.30 pm with a welcome bucks fizz. Guests will be served afternoon tea and cakes and music will be provided by Terry’s Dance Music.
There will also be a demonstration by champion dancers.
