Free Barbecue Cooking Demonstration

All welcome at Fulham Palace Garden Centre on Bank Holiday Monday

Wondering how to spend next week's bank holiday?  Fulham Palace Garden Centre, which has expanded its events calendar in 2011, is hosting a free Weber Barbecue Cooking Demonstration on Monday May 30 from noon onwards.

The centre says:

Join us in a barbecue revolution and enjoy a feast for all with this free demonstration offering expert tips and advice on outdoor cooking, including cooking times, the right fuel to use, and the various cooking techniques including grilling, roasting, baking and smoking.

You'll learn how to cook all kinds of delicious food you never thought possible on a barbecue including roast joints, pizzas and even chocolate brownies!

There will be lots of free food sampling and refreshments.  Barbecues have never been this much fun!

No need to book, just come along on the day

The Fulham Palace Garden Centre began in March 1985 with a young person, who’d been helped by youth charity Fairbridge, who wanted to set up a gardening business. It was first built and run by volunteers and in the early days, the idea was to provide work and training opportunities for young people.

In order to compete with other garden centres and generate profits directly for the charity, the business was re-organised and re-developed,  but has always retained the friendly, intimate atmosphere enjoyed by customers over the past 25 years. The garden centre is proud to donate all its profits to Fairbridge and we hope that this event will help to attract new customers and provide an excellent service to the community.
