Barons Court Theatre Welcomes Back The Toad In the Hole

Comedy which was highlight of New Writing Festival returns in September

Barons Court Theatre is welcoming back The Toad in the Hole, a comedy written by Simon James, from Tuesday 4 to Sunday 9 September.

The play, described as 'fascinating and highly original' by the theatre was one of the highlights of its Actors Awareness New Writing Festival last month. As it was only performed for one day during the festival it has now been brought back so more Barons Court Theatregoers can enjoy it.

Three primary school friends have found themselves split onto different tables, all because of their teacher’s new 'minibeast' labelling system: they are now Butterfly, Moth and Worm.

But while the trio are working out how the hierarchy of their new learning groups could have a negative impact on social order, there’s a much more immediate threat on the way, creeping ever-so-slowly from the corner of their lives. Will they spot it before it’s too late?

The Toad in the Hole is directed by Samantha Robinson with cast members Valerie Antwi (Butterfly), Nicola O'Keeffe (Moth), Tom McNulty (Worm) and Clare Woodward (Miss Bailey).

It is on each night from 4 - 9 September at 7.30pm with an additional matinee on Saturday 8 September at 2.30pm.

Tickets, priced 12 (£10 Concessions) are available from the box office on 0208 932 4747.

For email booking send details of performance and number of seats required to londontheatre@gmail.com. Then pay for them, in cash, when you come to the performance.
