With Checkov's Ward No 6 and Bulgakov's Master and Margarita
Barons Court Theatre is hosting a Russian season in March with plays by Anton Checkov and
Mikhail Bulgakov.
Running until March 22 is Checkov's Ward No 6, suitable for people aged 18 and over.
Theatre Collection/L.G.P. bring Barons Court Theatre a Russian Season which begins with a major event: a production of Chekhov's Ward No. 6.
This disturbing but fascinating play portrays an asylum's occupants reaching out to us – crossing the fine line separating the 'insane' from those deemed 'sane' – as characters from Chekhov's major plays (including The Seagull, Three Sisters and Uncle Vanya). This is a must see for all lovers of Russian literature and Anton Chekhov's works in particular.
PERFORMANCES: Saturday March 19 3pm, Sunday 20 6.30pm, Monday and Tuesday 21 and 22 7.30pm
