Double bill of one act dramas plus opportunities to enter the Magic Cavern
Barons Court Theatre is beginning the New Year with a gripping double bill of one-act plays by Arundel Thomas, jointly called Tales of Hard Nights.
The plays are:
GALLOWS MEN: A haunting tale of a young man sentenced to death for treason. The action takes place in his prison cell the night before he faces oblivion. A dramatic piece that explores life, love and death.
THE MEETING SHACK: We travel to Portugal in the grips of the Napoleonic Wars. On a stormy night two lost soldiers meet, can they set aside the differences of nation and politics to survive the storm?
Originally formed in the 1900’s as a music hall troupe, The Olympia Players return with a new, fresh look after 100 years with a cast of young actors and brand new material.
Tales of Hard Nights runs till January 31 from Tuesday to Sunday at 7.45pm and a Meet and Greet Q&A with cast and crew on Wednesday and Thursday after the show.
Tickets cost £12, or £10 concessions.
