Ramsay discovery Tamer Hassan joins top local restaurant
Tamer Hassan, a young chef discovered by Gordon Ramsey, has joined Bianco Nero.
At age 18, Tam was selected from 1500 chefs to be included in the F Word and, as the youngest finalist and then joint runner up, was offered a position at Claridges. Instead he decided to complete a Grande Diploma at Le Cordon Bleu. After a spell at Maxims in Paris, and having assisted at his father’s restaurant Reubens in Baker Street, he has taken over the running of bianco nero.
With his passion for food, Tam is at the markets at the crack of dawn selecting and buying the freshest seasonal ingredients for use in his dishes.
He has created an exciting new Autumn menu which includes Filetto di branzino con insalata estiva (Fillet of wild sea bass and niçoise salad), Linguini all’astice (Linguini with lobster and shellfish bisque) and has kept the restaurant’s renowned signature dessert dish - Cheesecake al cioccolato bianco e lamponi (white cholocate and raspberry cheesecake).
