Residents asked for their concerns about local crime and disorder issues
Local residents now have an additional way to contact their Safer Neighbourhood Teams with their concerns through a new online survey.
The online survey is designed to log resident’s everyday concerns about local crime and disorder issues where they live and work across the borough and feed them directly to the local Safer Neighbourhoods team.
The survey is a permanent service that will not only help to identify areas of concern in local communities; it will also provide a valuable additional communication channel between the public and their local Safer Neighbourhoods teams.
The survey will build upon and enhance the numerous methods already used by the local police teams to engage with their communities such as neighbourhood ward panel meetings, street briefings, newsletters, drop in surgeries and direct team phone numbers and email addresses.
The survey takes between two and three minutes to complete and can be found at www.met.police.uk/saferneighbourhoods/survey.htm
Community and Partnership Superintendent Ian Jenkins, Ealing Borough Police said, "The information gathered from the online survey will be passed back to the Safer Neighbourhoods team for that area who will look into the problem and aim to find a solution. The survey provides an anonymous channel of communication direct to your local police team and gives you the opportunity to identify the area causing you the most concern in your neighbourhood."
