New hotel has around 100 jobs on offer at four open days

Shepherd's Bush's new luxury hotel Dorsett Shepherd's Bush is now recruiting around 100 staff, and inviting local people to visit a serious of open days in April.

The wraps will soon come off the new hotel, rebuilt in the shape of the historic Pavilion cinema that previously stood on the site on the west side of Shepherd's Bush Green.

Recruitment is already underway to make sure a professional team is in place when the hotel opens this spring.

The hotel is looking for a full range of hospitality staff both front and back of house, including receptionists, chefs, porters, cleaners and bar, restaurant and spa team members.

Anyone interested in joining the ream is encouraged to explore these job opportunities during four recruitment open days.

The first, supported by Hammersmith & Fulham Council, will be in the Assembly Hall at Hammersmith Town Hall on Monday, April 7, from 10am to 4pm.

Dorsett will host the second open day at the former Walkabout pub in Shepherds Bush Green, which is set to become part of the hotel, on Wednesday, April 9, from 5pm to 8pm.

The final open days will at the Bush Theatre in Uxbridge Road on Thursday, April 10 and Friday, April 11, from 9.30am to 4.30pm on both days.

The seven storey hotel, with 317 rooms, boasts contemporary architecture and design whilst retaining the historical façade of this Grade II listed building, formally The Pavillion. Overlooking Shepherd's Bush Green, the hotel offers two restaurants, destination bar and a spa located under the landmark glass roof.
