Hearing Well of Chiswick High Road took this year's Best Retailer award

The West London Chambers of Commerce Business Awards were held recently at the Clayton Hotel in Chiswick.
The black tie, gala dinner saw awards handed out in 20 categories with the overall prize of Best Business of the Year going to Ajar Technology, which started in an Ealing bedroom and now has over 60 employees. Its solutions include control environments, large format digital media display, physical & cyber security, as well as smart building and home automation.
The Best Retailer award went to Hearing Well, the hearing specialist based on Chiswick High Road and Best New business went to Room 2 which recently opened an aparthotel just off the High Road.
Entertainment was laid on by Max Hodge, a student at the Arts Educational School.

The are held every year to celebrate growing business success across Hounslow, Ealing and Hammersmith & Fulham and are open to all business across the three boroughs, whether they are Chamber members or not.
This year the awards ranged from Best Charity of the Year to Best Exporter to the year. Keynote speakers included Seema Malhotra, MP for Feltham & Heston and Shadow Minister for Skills, Jonathan Brenton, Director of Public Affairs at Pernod Ricard, and Cllr Shantanu Rajawat, Leader of Hounslow Council, alongside his counterparts from Ealing and Hammersmith & Fulham.

Sally Smith, COO of West London Chambers said, ‘2023 was the 10th anniversary for the Awards and were the best yet! This year entries to the Awards increased from 94 to 153, which is a 62% increase. The Awards dinner was at capacity with 290 guests and the calibre of entries this year was really high. The Awards are the high light of our year, and we could not do all we do without the support of our businesses and our sponsors. Congratulations to you all.’
Ajar Technology was awarded Best Business of the Year
Tara Mclaughlin of Ajar Technology said, "Winning the Best Business award is both a huge honour and validation for our team who go the extra mile every day to keep our clients happy and our business moving forward in the right direction.
