Forthcoming Disruption on Public Transport


Tubes and trains affected by engineering works

Sunday 14 January

Some lines between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction (including part of London Waterloo station) will be closed all day Sunday. Most train services will still run in and out of London Waterloo but some will be altered as shown below.

All lines in the Twickenham area will also be closed all day Sunday. Alterations for all this work are shown below.
South Western Railway services will use platforms 5 to 8 at Vauxhall. Many trains will leave London Waterloo from different platforms to normal - please check displays at station.
All trains from Clapham Junction to London Waterloo will leave from either platform 7 or platform 10 at Clapham Junction.
Queenstown Road station will have no service and passengers should use other stations nearby.
• Trains between London Waterloo and Reading also trains between London Waterloo and Windsor & Eton Riverside will be diverted, calling at Barnes and Hounslow instead of Richmond and Twickenham. These trains will also not run between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction.
• Trains between London Waterloo and Woking via Staines will use the normal route but will not run between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction.
• A shuttle train service will run between London Waterloo and Richmond.
• Bus services will run between Richmond and Hounslow via Twickenham to connect with the above train services.
• The circular service to and from London Waterloo via Kingston will be altered to run between London Waterloo and Shepperton via Wimbledon.
• Bus services will run between Richmond and Teddington via Twickenham to connect with the altered train service to and from Shepperton.
• The afternoon and evening service to Kingston via Hounslow will not run. Please use the altered train services and replacement buses.

Sunday 28 January

No service between Richmond and Willesden Junction (there is also no District line service between Richmond and Turnham Green). Replacement buses operate between Richmond and Willesden Junction via Turnham Green.

Replacement buses operateRichmond - Kew Gardens (Royal Botanic Gardens) - Gunnersbury - Chiswick Park (Tube) - Turnham Green (Tube) - South Acton - Acton Central - Willesden Junction.

District line

Sunday 28 January

No service between Turnham Green and Richmond. Replacement buses operate between Willesden Junction and Richmond, but do not serve Turnham Green due to roadworks, please change between District line trains and replacement buses at Acton Town.

Replacement buses operate Willesden Junction - Acton Central - Acton Town - South Acton - Chiswick Park - Gunnersbury - Kew Gardens - Richmond
