Tubes and trains affected by engineering works
Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October
Some lines between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction (including about half of London Waterloo station) will be closed all day Saturday and Sunday for work on the Waterloo & South West Upgrade project. A reduced train service will run in and out of London Waterloo on the lines which remain open.
All lines in the Twickenham area will be closed.
Replacement buses will run between:
- Barnes and Hounslow
- Barnes and Teddington
Saturday
. Trains between London Waterloo and Reading , also between London Waterloo
and Windsor will be diverted via Hounslow and will make extra stops .
. Circular services via Kingston and via Hounslow will not run .
. Buses will run between Barnes and Hounslow , connecting with train services
to Reading and Windsor via Staines .
. Buses will run between Barnes and Teddington , connecting with train services
to and from Shepperton .
Sunday
. Trains between London Waterloo and Reading will be diverted via Hounslow calling at Barnes and Hounslow instead of Richmond and Twickenham .
. Trains between London Waterloo and Windsor will be diverted via Hounslow and will make extra stops .
. Buses will run between Barnes and Hounslow , connecting with train services
to Reading and Windsor via Staines .
. Circular services via Kingston will be altered to run between London Waterloo
and Strawberry Hill via Wimbledon .
Buses will run between Teddington and Barnes .
. The afternoon and evening services between London Waterloo and Kingston
via Hounslow will not run .

No service between Baker Street and Hammersmith / High Street Kensington.

No service between High Street Kensington and Edgware Road.
Before 0900 and after 2100 each day, no service between Earl's Court and Kensington (Olympia)

No service between South Kensington / Edgware Road and Wimbledon / Olympia / Ealing Broadway / Richmond. Replacement buses operate, and some Piccadilly line trains call additionally at Ravenscourt Park, Stamford Brook, Turnham Green and Chiswick Park, but not overnight.

Service A: Hammersmith - Putney Bridge - East Putney - Southfields - Wimbledon Park - Wimbledon.
Service B: Earl's Court - West Brompton - Fulham Broadway - Parsons Green - Putney Bridge- Wimbledon (Some early / late journeys operate to/from South Kensington to connect with first and last District line trains)
Service C: Saturday, early morning and late evening only: Turnham Green - Chiswick Park - Gunnersbury - Kew Gardens - Richmond. Use Overground at other times.Late evening westbound buses start from Ravenscourt Park for Piccadilly line connections
Service C: Sunday: Willesden Junction - Acton Central - South Acton - Turnham Green - Chiswick Park - Gunnersbury - Kew Gardens - Richmond.
An additional Saturday only replacement bus operates between 0800 and 1900 Earl's Court - Kensington (Olympia) - West Kensington - West Brompton - Earl's Court
Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 October
No service between Aldgate and Edgware Road (via Victoria). Please use local London Underground and London Buses services.
Friday 13 October (from 2115) and all day Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October
No service between Hammersmith and Tower Hill. A special Circle line service operates between Edgware Road and Barking (via Victoria)
