Train and tube services affected by engineering works

If you are planning to travel this weekend and the next few weekends the following lines are affected by engineering works.

Sunday 2 July

The lines between Barnes and Feltham via Hounslow will be closed all day Sunday for maintenance work.

Train services between London Waterloo and Woking via Hounslow and Staines will be diverted to run via Richmond and Twickenham.

Replacement bus services will run between Barnes and Twickenham via Brentford and Hounslow.

The afternoon train service between London Waterloo and Kingston via Hounslow will not run .

Passengers use other train services and the replacement buses.

London Waterloo area: affecting all South West trains routes

Preparatory engineering works is taking place on the Sunday 2 July at London Waterloo, resulting in a revised service taking place. These engineering works are essential to prepare for the Waterloo upgrade works in August. The engineering works this weekend are taking place on ‘West Crossing' just outside of London Waterloo. This crossing is a set of points which allows trains to travel across all lines in and out of this station. The works this weekend will ensure that the crossing can handle the increased traffic that will be passing over on West Crossing whilst the August upgrade works are carried out.

The following lines of route will be affected:

· Main Suburban – Between Raynes Park and Guildford via Epsom and Cobham
· Mainline – Weymouth, Exeter, Portsmouth and all other mainline routes
· Windsor lines –Between Reading, Windsor, Hounslow/Kingston circular routes, Shepperton via Twickenham and London Waterloo
