Train and tube services affected by engineering works
If you are planning to travel this weekend, February 27 and 28, the following lines are affected by engineering works.
Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 February
No service between Acton Town and Uxbridge. Replacement buses operate between Acton Town and Rayners Lane, use the Metropolitan line between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge. This is to replace track at South Harrow and Alperton
Sunday 28 February
On Sunday 28 February some lines between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction and all South West Trains lines in the Wimbledon and Surbiton areas will be closed all day Sunday for renewal and maintenance work. No train services will run between Clapham Junction and Weybridge via Surbiton, or between Clapham Junction and Kingston via Wimbledon.
South West Trains services will use platforms 3 to 6 at Clapham Junction and platforms 1 to 4 at Vauxhall. Many trains will leave London Waterloo from different platforms to normal - please check displays at station.
A limited train service to routes via Epsom will run from platform 1 at Raynes Park.
Berrylands station will have no service. Passengers should use the Transport for London “K2” bus service between Surbiton and Kingston, which will accept valid rail tickets.
This work will affect services throughout the South West Trains area and all passengers should confirm times before travelling.
The following trains will run to and from London Waterloo but make additional stops or use alternative routes with longer journey times. Many services will start earlier than normal from London Waterloo.
An hourly service between London Waterloo and Basingstoke / Alton.
Between London Waterloo and Shepperton via Richmond (altered service).
Between London Waterloo and Ascot (engineering work between Ascot and Reading).
Between London Waterloo and Windsor & Eton Riverside. One train an hour will run on this route throughout the day.
Between London Waterloo and Woking via Hounslow and Staines.
The following services will be altered as shown below and passengers may need to change trains to complete their journeys.
Trains will run between Raynes Park and Dorking / Guildford via Epsom.
Trains between London Waterloo and Shepperton will run via Richmond instead of via Wimbledon.
“Kingston Loop” trains will only run between London Waterloo and Kingston via Richmond.
A revised timetable will run to and from Hounslow and to and from Kingston via Twickenham.
Bus services will run :
Between Clapham Junction and Hampton Court
Between Clapham Junction and Kingston via Wimbledon
Between Clapham Junction and Raynes Park
Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March
No service between West Kensington and Ealing Broadway / Richmond while track is replaced between Hammersmith and Turnham Green. Use London Overground between Gunnersbury and Richmond. Replacement buses operate.
Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 March
No service between Hammersmith and Northfields / Uxbridge. Use the Metropolitan line between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge. Replacement buses operate.
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March
No service on the entire line.
