Transport Disruption Over The Weekend


Local train and tube services affected by engineering works

If you are planning to travel over the weekend, the following lines are affected by engineering works.

 

Central Line

No service between White City and Ealing Broadway / West Ruislip

Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April

No service between White City and Ealing Broadway / West Ruislip. Replacement bus services operate.

Sunday 26 April

No service between Clapham Junction and Kensington (Olympia) due to Earl's Court development works. Please use local London Buses services via any reasonable route. In addition, there will be no Southern service between Clapham Junction and Watford Junction.

Southwesttrains

Amended service to and from London Waterloo

Engineering work is taking place at London Waterloo station with various line closures. This will mostly affect long distance services and suburban services which normally pass through Wimbledon, but there will also be alterations to other services.

Sunday 3 and Monday 4 May

No trains will call at Earlsfield. Passengers should use shuttle bus services between Clapham Junction and Earlsfield. Queenstown Road Battersea will also have no service. Passengers should use Southern services to / from Battersea Park. Passengers for Berrylands should use the local Transport for London K2 bus service.

A retimed service will run between London Waterloo and Windsor & Eton Riverside.

The London Waterloo to Chessington South service will run between Wimbledon and Chessington South, the London Waterloo to Guildford (via Leatherhead) service will run between Wimbledon and Guildford and the London Waterloo and Hampton Court service will run between Surbiton and Hampton Court. Passengers should use alternative services to continue their journey.

Sunday 3 May

The London Waterloo to Woking (via Hounslow) service will run between Clapham Junction and Woking, the London Waterloo to Dorking service will run between Wimbledon and Dorking, the London Waterloo to Guildford (via Woking) service will run between London Waterloo and Woking and services from Portsmouth Harbour to London Waterloo (via Guildford) will be diverted via Staines. Services from London waterloo to Portsmouth Harbour (via Guildford) will run as normal.

Monday 4 May

Services between London Waterloo and Weybridge (via Hounslow) will not run. A replacement bus will run between Virginia Water and Weybridge.

Services from London Waterloo to Hounslow (via Brentford) will terminate at Twickenham and services from London Waterloo to Hounslow (via Richmond) will start from Twickenham running to London Waterloo via Brentford.

Services between London Waterloo and Strawberry Hill (via Richmond) will run between Kingston and Clapham Junction and services between London Waterloo and Kingston (via Wimbledon) will run between Clapham Junction and Kingston. Passengers should use alternative services to continue their journey.

District Line

Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May

No service between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway. Piccadilly line trains call additionally at Turnham Green all weekend.

Saturday 23, Sunday 24 and Bank Holiday Monday 25 May

No service between Turnham Green and Richmond. Replacement buses operate.
