Transport Disruption This Weekend

Local train services affected by engineering works

If you are planning to travel this weekend, August 2 and 3, the following lines are affected by engineering works.

Sunday August 3

The lines between Surbiton and Effingham Junction will be closed all day Sunday August 3 for power supply and track maintenance work.
The lines between Leatherhead and Dorking will be closed all day Sunday.

  • Buses will replace all train services between Leatherhead and Dorking.
  • Services between London Waterloo and Dorking will be diverted after Leatherhead to run to Guildford.
  • Replacement bus services will run between Surbiton and Effingham Junction.
  • Services between Wimbledon / London Waterloo and Guildford via Cobham will not run. Passengers from London Waterloo use other train services to Surbiton to connect with the buses.

LONDON OVERGROUND: Saturday 2 August, no service between Clapham Junction and Kensington (Olympia). Valid rail tickets will be accepted on local buses via all reasonable routes.

LONDON OVERGROUND: Sunday 3 August, no service between Clapham Junction and Kensington (Olympia), or between Willesden Junction and Camden Road (via West Hampstead).

Replacement buses operate between Willesden Junction and Camden Road, with trains operating via an alternative route from Willesden Junction, Low Level Platforms to Stratford calling at Kensal Green, Queen's Park, Kilburn High Road, South Hampstead, Camden Road and all stations.Replacement buses operate Willesden Junction - Kensal Rise - Brondesbury Park - Brondesbury - West Hampstead - Finchley Road Underground Station (for Jubilee and Metropolitan lines, and Finchley Road & Frognal Station) - Hampstead Heath - Gospel Oak Station - Kentish Town West (Kentish Town Road) - Camden Road Valid tickets will be valid for travel on local bus routes between Clapham Junction, Imperial Wharf, West Brompton and Kensington (Olympia) Alternative train service Willesden Junction, low level platforms - Kensal Green - Queens Park - Kilburn High Road - South Hampstead - Camden Road - all stations to / from Stratford

LONDON OVERGROUND: Sunday 3 August, until 8.30am, no service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction. Valid rail tickets will be accepted on local buses via all reasonable routes.

Until Sunday August 10, no service between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge to enable replacement of track at Ickenham.
