School announces the passing of Elizabeth Diggory
The former headmistress of St Paul's Girls School, Elizabeth Diggory, has died.
The school posted a message on their website which read "We are sad to announce that Elizabeth Diggory, High Mistress from 1998 - 2006, died very peacefully in Burrswood Christian Hospital on March 18th 2007."
In a distinguished career in education she also served as Headmistress of St. Albans High School for Girls (1983 - 1994) and of Manchester High School for Girls (1994 - 1998).
A private family funeral will be followed by a memorial service to be announced.
Donations in her memory may be sent to The Dorothy Kerin Trust, Burrswood, Groombridge, Tunbridge Wells, Kent TH3 9PY or to Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
