New kitchen for Wormholt Primary School
Work is due to start on a Shepherds Bush primary school building which will provide a kitchen to allow pupils to have hot school meals.
Work will begin on June 2 at Wormholt Primary School in Bryony Road.
A new extension will be built to the school and the ICT suite and school offices will also be refurbished.
The new kitchen will allow freshly prepared food to be sold to pupils at the schools and other local schools.
This will allow the school to cook meals that comply with national guidelines and will have a positive impact on children’s health and education by encouraging them to eat more nutritious food.
