Childsplay at Normand Park

Interactive outdoor show every weekend this month

Head for Normand Park on Lillie Road from this weekend until February 13 to watch and take part in an unusual "promenade show" called Childsplay.

Presented by S.P.I.D. Theatre Company, Childsplay is described as "an interactive journey through outdoor games across the ages" with opportunities for the audience to get involved in the outdoor games.

The 70 minute show takes place every Saturday and Sunday from this weekend, January 8 and 9 until February 13. There will be two shows each day, at 12 noon and 3pm.

As the show happens outdoors in Normand Park audience members are advised to wear warm clothing.

People who live in Normand ward are entitled to free tickets which can be booked by emailing admin@spidtheatrecompany.com or phoning 0208 968 2961.

Those who live outside the ward can obtain tickets, priced £8, or £6 concessions from Riverside Studios. Call 0208 237 1111.

The organisers say the show will be cancelled if it rains, but tickets can be moved to another show.

Childsplay is supported by Arts Council England, London Councils, H & F parks and culture, RBKC youth services and BBC Children in Need.
