Chelsea Creek, Fulham's new dockside development, is holding open days on Saturday June 4 and Sunday June 5 to show off its studio and one-bedroom Manhattan apartments designed for first time buyers.

The apartments, in the development's Doulton House, are being offered to first time buyers who live or work in the borough and whose household earns less than £60,00 per year.

The apartments are being made available through a scheme designed by developer St George and Hammersmith and Fulham Council called Discounted Market Sale.

Under Discounted Market Sale, studio flats and one-bedroom apartments are on sale for approximately 70% of their market value to first time buyers.

Buyers have full ownership of the property and do not pay any rent on the 30% they do not own, which is held in covenant by H&F Council. Studios start from £186,150 and Manhattan’s are available from £212,750.

When the owner comes to sell the home it is sold to approved applicants on the Homebuy register under the same criteria and market value percentage.

Councillor Andrew Johnson, Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s Cabinet Member for Housing says: "I am delighted we have been able to work with St George to give the next generation of hard working first time buyers who live or work in the borough the opportunity to purchase such high quality affordable homes."

The apartments for first time buyers are fitted with luxurious bathrooms, custom designed European fitted kitchens, state of the art sound systems and exceptional finishes throughout. Bathrooms include heated walls and floors covered with prime natural stone complemented by Hansgrohe and Villeroy and Boch sanitary wear.
