Where's the best place to watch England playing in the World Cup?
The HMV Apollo is broadcasting the matches live and for free on what is said to be England's biggest indoor HD screen, with quality surround sound.
At at 20m x 10m it is one of the world’s largest and is equivalent in size to four Routemaster London buses.
Tickets to the screenings are free for up to four people per booking, who MUST be aged 18 plus to gain admission. England’s Group C matches against the USA ( June 12), Algeria ( June 18) and Slovenia ( June 23) will all be featured as will other England matches as the team progresses through the tournament.
Doors on the night will open 90-minutes prior to kick-off so that fans can enjoy all the excitement of the build-up along with a range of entertainment that includes DJs playing classic terrace anthems and screenings of classic World Cup moments. There will also be chances to win fantastic prizes, including a 32” LCD TV, gig tickets and other giveaways.
Fans will have the choice of ‘standing-on-the-terraces’ in the venue’s ground-floor stalls or they can watch from the comfort of the balcony seats above.
Bars will be open during and after the matches, with beer priced from only £2.10 and with other drinks, snacks and refreshments also available.
