Join the chorus singing Carmina Burana at their summer concert
The Addison Singers Oratorio Choir are holding an Open Rehearsal for their summer concert on Saturday, 28 April at St Peter’s Church in Hammersmith's Black Lion Lane between 2pm and 5pm.
As part of the summer concert on 7 July, The Addison Singers Oratorio Choir will sing one of the most popular choral works of the twentieth century, Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana.
And the choir says: "We are holding an Open Rehearsal on 28 April to give people a rare opportunity to sing the choruses from this exciting piece at an early stage of rehearsal.
"The day is open not just to existing members of the choir but also to singers from other choirs that might have sung the piece before, or even those who want to experience this landmark work for the first time."
The cost will be £10 to singers not already enrolled with the Addison Oratorio Choir for the Summer term, but refundable to new singers who enrol online with the Oratorio Choir by Friday 4 May– enrolment advice will be available at the Open Rehearsal.
The Open rehearsal price includes free tea and biscuits and homemade cake will also be on sale.
The conductor & Musical Director is David Wordsworth
