In celebration of Slow Food Week at the beginning of June, Vini Italiani, the home of Italian wines, is hosting a special food and wine pairing event on June 6 - and we have a pair of tickets to be give away.

The celebration of slow food and wine in Vini Italiani's store on Old Brompton Road will feature generous offerings from slow food suppliers across Italy including Gallucci & Gilmour, Caciocavallo Podolico and Peperoni Cruschi, as well as special guest host, winemaker Dario Poddana.

An ongoing champion of Slow Food, in 1999 Dario moved into the wine industry and was actively involved in the organisation of the first UK Natural Wine Fair in May 2011.

As a result Dario will be on hand to guide guests through the 'slow' food and wine pairing process.
