Stock up on seasonal food and enjoy festivities over next two Saturdays

Brook Green Food Market and Kitchen at Addison Primary School is hosting special Christmas events over the next two Saturdays, 16 and 23 December.

This Saturday, 16 December there will be face painting for the children, a Christmas choir and a raffle with prizes including a two course meal at The Havelock Tavern, a £50 voucher to spend at the market, and a personal training session from Genesis gym.

The festivities will also include mulled wine, roasted
chestnuts and mistletoe for sale.

On 23 December, Santa will be visiting the market and children will have the chance to give him their Christmas letters and have their photo taken with him.

With more than 25 traders gathering in the school playground, the market also offers a wide range of Christmas food. For example, Wild Country Organics and Perry Court Farm offers seasonal vegetables and fruits, while the best quality meat is available from award winning butcher Murdoch's, raw milk from Ahimsa and a range of organic products, including wines and beers, eggs and other groceries from Pick Organics. Other stalls offer Christmas treats such as mince pies, cakes and cheeses from all over the world.
