Craft Beer Month at Brook Green Food Market and Kitchen

Touch, smell and taste local beers at four weekly sessions from 29 July

Brook Green Food Market and Kitchen, at Addison Primary School is hosting a summertime Craft Beer Month, starting on Saturday 29 July and continuing until 19 August.

The school playground turned market space will offer four free guided tastings through a series of Tap Takeovers, along with food from some of London’s best street food traders.

In the past few years, Londoners have become increasingly interested in all things craft beer and the market is aiming fuel this further by offering an educative experience.

The Craft Beer month will be featuring: Portobello Brewing Co (29 July), Signature Brew (5 August), Solvay Society (12 August) and Hop Stuff (19 August).

The tastings are completely free of charge and will be an excellent opportunity to learn all
about craft beer from industry specialists through a series of talks about the art of brewing
and the opportunity to meet the brewers.

The visiting brewers will bring their expertise, their ingredients for visitors touch, taste and smell, their history and – most importantly – their fantastic beers for sampling. There will of course also be the opportunity to buy the beers and take them home.

Brook Green Market is in the playground at Addison Primary School, in Bolingbroke Road, W14 every Saturday between 10am and 3pm with 25 traders offering a wide range of produce, food and drinks.

Prizes include Easter eggs for the kids, wine for the adults and a grand prize of a voucher that can be spent at the market.

With over 25 regular traders, Brook Green Market & Kitchen offers a wide choice of seasonal, locally sourced produce, plus hot and cold prepared food to take away.

The market is open every Saturday from 10am-3pm in Addison Primary School, Bolingbroke Road entrance, W14.
