Second show in spring Education Arts Programme opens today, 8 March
The Apothecary Gallery's Arts Education Programme is back in March, showing some of the best work produced by students at three local colleges.
The gallery in Greyhound Road launched the programme in 2008, and since then it has continued every spring.
The gallery says the aim of the programme is to give students the chance to put on an exhibition of their work at the gallery and host a private view, thus increasing their confidence and communication skills and introducing them to a more professional/vocational world.
Three colleges are now involved: William Morris Sixth Form, Ealing Hammersmith and West London's College and Fulham's Bridge Academy.
The second exhibition is by William William Morris Art and Design students. It opens with a private view this evening, 8 March, and continues to be open to the public from 9 to 15 March.
Examples of the students' work is shown here.
