Apothecary Gallery Exhibits Work of Local Artists


Paintings and drawings by Diana Braybrook on show this week

Greyhound Road's Apothecary Gallery CIC has two exhibitions featuring the work of local artists during November.

Diana Braybrook's exhibition of paintings and drawings called We Are Ourselves a Part of Nature is on now and runs till November 17.

Diana is a West London artist who currently has her studio in the stable block at Osterley Park & House. She trained initially at Camberwell College of Art before gaining a BA in History of Art & Architecture.

In the past couple of years she has exhibited at Mine Gallery, Carshalton; Landmark Arts Centre, Teddington; PM Gallery, Ealing; W3 Gallery, Acton as well as in the Garden Gallery at Osterley Park.




The exhibition is open to view by appointment and entrance is free.

This will be followed by the West London Original Prints Show, an exhibition of the work of 12 local artist printmakers, accompanied by an Artists Talk and End of Show Drinks.

The exhibition runs Monday November 24, with a private view from 6pm - 9m, to Monday December 1.

There will be an Artists Talk with Sumi Perera on Thursday November 27 at 7pm and End of Show Drinks on Sunday November 30 from 6pm -8pm.

The exhibition will be open to view by appointment after the private view.

ARTS EDUCATION PROGRAMME:

The programme has continued to be an enjoyable and useful vocational experience for the students taking part; supporting both their studies and their transition from school to further and higher education and the work place. All colleges are local to Hammersmith & Fulham and the programme has helped to promote a sense of local community and support.
