We have highly qualified teachers who have attended some of the best universities in the world and know what it takes to progress to Oxford, Cambridge and other Russell Group universities, Ivy League universities and colleges, as well as world-renowned specialist colleges in art and music. Our UCAS knowledge and support is extensive, and students are all supported in making choices about their best options following their A-Level studies. Many of our teachers mark examination papers at Sixth Form level and know the standards that are required.
Serious study is combined with extensive opportunities for enrichment. In the Sixth Form we offer our students to excel academically, as well as helping them to develop and enhance their leadership skills through a range of activities. We know that while obtaining excellent qualifications is fundamental to Sixth Form life, this is balanced with the aims of developing essential personal qualities through involvement in activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, music and debating, as well as sport, drama, travel and charitable work.
Students will be encouraged to develop intellectual curiosity, to read around their subjects and to attend lectures by leading academics. These essential study skills, alongside time management and organisation, are the qualities that will enable them to progress to the best universities and to fulfilling careers and professions. All of our A-Level courses are academic. There is a stimulating and dynamic range of subjects available which allows students to pursue their passions, and facilitates entry to the highest quality universities. Our enrichment programme, including the Extended Project Qualification stretches and challenges students and gives them a wonderful preparation for university.
