antiplasticpeople.com is the new place to be for changemakers, campaigning organisations, single-use plastic-free businesses, and everyday folk who are looking for solutions to the overwhelming single-use plastic pollution crisis. Aside from free access to a Global Directory for single-use plastic-free places, services and events, there are downloadable resources, including global reports on plastic pollution, solutions for the home, business and local community, plus an online community space where users can create a Community Member profile for free, join action groups and forums, and take collective action against single-use plastic.

Active changemakers and business owners may wish to opt for one of the paid membership options: Community Leader membership is £5 per month+ and allows users to create groups and forums and post events in the Directory. Business Membership is £15 per month and allows users to list their single-use plastic-free business, organisation or service in the Directory, in addition to all member benefits.

Sarah Hardy, founded Anti-Plastic People in July 2017, said: “Bringing people together, to accelerate action on the single-use plastic epidemic is paramount. It’s consumers that dictate what corporations sell. The power is in the hands of our communities, and it is people coming together that will drive change.”

Sarah is also Co-founder/Director of In The Drink UK CIC, a not-for-profit community interest company that works to reduce plastic pollution in our waterways caused by riverside bars and events; presenting a range of cost-effective, reusable alternatives to single-use plastic.

In The Drink were instrumental in Positively Putney [BID organisation] purchasing 14,000 reusable cups to be used at the annual Boat Race Day in 2019, preventing over 50,000 single-use plastic cups from entering our waterways and polluting the environment.

+ Launch Offer - for those looking to sign up as Community Leader or Business Members, Anti-Plastic People is offering three months for the price of one.
