Goldhawk Estate Appeal Draws to a Close


Local residents rally to raise funds for the appeal

Local residents are rallying around in the third week of the Goldhawk inquiry to raise funds to pay solicitors to represent their appeal against the move by local government to build residential flats at the industrial estate. Evidence from Andy Slaughter MP this week will be followed by local submissions and statements. The appeal will be reviewed by the Secretary of State in a few weeks' time.

Frank Colcord is one of the many residents who has raised money by selling prints of his photography at the Hepsibah Gallery in Brackenbury Village had an open weekend showcasing his work and raising awareness amongst local residents to the issues of congestion, limited availability of parking and pressure on resources the development of residential flats in the industrial estate could have.
