Noodle chain opens in spring on site of Old Fire Station pub
Japanese inspired noodle chain Wagamama has begun looking for staff for its restaurant in Hammersmith, which will launch this spring on the site of the Old Fire Station pub in Shepherd's Bush Road.
There has been speculation about the future of the site since the pub suddenly closed its doors last December, but the chain has confirmed it plans to open soon in Hammersmith Town Centre.
This is the third branch of Wagamama to open in the borough, alongside restaurants Westfield and Fulham Broadway. Another restaurant is also due to open in spring at Wandsworth's Southside centre.
The site is close to the former Hammersmith Palais, which is now being redeveloped by Pure Student Living, and will open in September as Pure Hammersmith, providing accommodation for 418 students.
