Safety boots and gloves provided but kids should bring their own wellie

Environmental charity Thames 21 is inviting local people to come along this Sunday, September 4 to help clean up the Thames foreshore around Hammersmith Bridge.

Thames 21 say everybody is welcome - all you need is a bit of enthusiasm and an adventurous spirit!

The charity will provide safety boots for adults, gloves and socks, but say children need to bring their own Wellington boots.

Parental supervision is required for under 16s.

The clean up will begin at 1pm and last till 4pm. If you would like to join in, meet on the Southside towpath under Hammersmith Bridge.
