Seasonal concert by the Petros Singers on Saturday December 12
St Peter's Church in Black Lion Lane is hosting 'A Babe is Born', a seasonal concert by the Petros Singers on Saturday, December 12 at 7.30pm.
The singers' annual candlelit Christmas concert tells the Nativity story, from Angel Gabriel's visit to Mary, to the birth of the baby in the stable and the ensuing worship of the new-born King.

Join them to hear dazzling and diverse music spanning five centuries from composers including Mendelssohn, Scheidt, Bruckner, Pärt, Jonathan Dove, Bob Chilcott and John Rutter.
Proceeds in aid of The Upper Room, a local charity which works with socially disadvantaged people.
Mince pies and mulled wine will be served before the concert from 7pm and during the interval.
