Simple way to help homeless people in Hammersmith using your contactless device
Small tap, big change is an easy way for Hammersmith residents to make a difference to homeless people in our borough.
Use your contactless device to make a payment at a range of pubs, shops and offices across Hammersmith Town Centre and fixed donations of £2 per tap goes directly to local H&F homeless charities, funding additional beds, hot meals, washing facilities, outreach services and life skills coaching.
There is also an additional option to give donations online of any higher value.
This ground-breaking initiative was launched late last year by Hammersmith BID, supported by United in Hammersmith & Fulham, aiming to combat challenges associated with homelessness exclusively in Hammersmith and Fulham.
You can also donate to the scheme online, with over £3,000 already raised.
The charities that will benefit from Small tap, big change funding in are the Barons Court Project, Glass Door, St Andrew’s Church and The Upper Room.

Are you having a Christmas Jumper Day in your office or wanting to run a festive fundraiser? Support Small tap, big change and make a real difference for local homelessness projects this Christmas.
Host a device
To host a contactless device in your business all you need is a power source and Wi-Fi, the Hammersmith BID team take care of the rest. This is a simple and effective way to get involved, simply place a device next to your till or at reception and encourage customers and clients to get tapping.
Give advertising space
Join other businesses across Hammersmith and Fulham such as Kings Mall and the Broadway Centre in supporting this initiative with free advertising space and help us to spread the Small tap, big change message this Christmas.
Support through CSR channels
Make us your company’s chosen charity going into 2020 or donate directly via CSR channels to help make a difference in your local area. Small tap, big change is always on the lookout for new sponsors and is open to new ideas and opportunities of how your business can be involved.
Local companies already supporting Small tap, big change include B@1, The Latymers, Toro Gordo, Snappy Snaps and Made in H&F, with devices also found in the Ark, 245 Hammersmith Road, The Assembly and 10 Hammersmith Grove.
