Dutch chain opens 'pit stop for commuters'

Hammersmith's handiest little store has opened in the Broadway Shopping Centre.

The tiny shop, the sixth to be launched in Britain by Dutch chain HEMA, and described as " a pit stop for busy commuters" crams in hundreds of the chain's own everyday essentials, particularly beauty, snack food and stationery.

Peter Antonissen, UK Country Manager of HEMA, which has existed in Holland since 1926 says: “Our new retailing unit in Hammersmith, located in Broadway Shopping Centre, is a real essentials shop aimed at making the life of the daily commuter easier with functional product solutions.

" Our philosophy is to make life easier, and where better to do this than in one of the busiest parts of West London."
