Ravenscourt Ward residents can register now for chance to quiz candidates
Hammersmith's three most westerly residents' associations, Westcroft Square, St Peters and Hamlet Gardens have organised a local election hustings event at the London School Of English, 65 Westcroft Square on Wednesday 7 March.
This event is for people who live and work in Ravenscourt Ward, and if it is oversubscribed preference will be given to residents and members of Westcroft Square, St Peter’s and Hamlet Gardens Residents’ Association.
Registration is essential, and seating in the venue is limited. Please arrive at 7.15pm for a prompt 7.30pm start. Westcroft Square’s Greg Kerr has kindly agreed to moderate.
Register for this event here.
The organisers say: "This May, local elections in Hammersmith will appoint councillors to run our local authority for the next four years, including three councillors to represent Ravenscourt Ward.
"To help us make the best informed choice in these elections, we have arranged for council candidates standing in our ward to come along and answer residents’ questions about their parties’ visions for Hammersmith, and for our corner of it.
"Conservatives, Labour and Liberal Democrat’s have all confirmed. Others may join if they respond in good time. Candidates will each have up to five minutes to set out their stalls, and questions will then open to the floor."
