What Should Be Done with Dalling Road Open Space?


Residents invited to offer views on planned improvements

 


Hammersmith residents are being invited to offer their views to improve an unkempt piece of land in Dalling Road.

The small open space on has recently been used by Transport for London to store equipment for repairs to the nearby railway bridge.

Now, Hammersmith & Fulham Council says it has negotiated for TfL to carry out some improvements.

Proposals include new railings, a new path, new trees and new flower beds.

H&F Council deputy leader, Cllr Greg Smith, said: " This piece of land has become something of an eyesore and I am delighted that we are going to be able to spruce it up at no cost to the taxpayer."

The council and TfL recently worked on a similar scheme close to the Studland Road railway bridge.
