Incident: Theft
Date and Time: 28/04/05 10.45pm
Location: Elmo Road, W12
Victim is a 50 year-old male who suffers from epilepsy; whilst making his way to the shops he had a seizure in Askew Road.
Two male passers-by approached him and assisted him home. When the victim reached his flat and opened the door the two men helped the victim to the floor, a women appeared and went into the flat with the two men. The victim then went to the toilet and when he reappeared they all left, he later realised that his mobile phone, money and tobacco had been taken from the table. The victim called his mobile phone and a lady answered but put the phone down. The value of the property stolen is £94

The first suspect is described as a white south European Female, about 25 years old of a medium build and around 5’5”. She had scars on her face and fingers and had long dark fuzzy hair. She was wearing a dark blue coat with pockets, jeans and trainers; Victim believes he heard one of the males call her ‘Mara’

The second suspect is described as a white male between 25-30 years old with shaved fair hair about 5’9” with a stocky build wearing a dark blue Nike sports jacket.

Incident: Burglary Artifice
Date and Time: 28/04/05 1.20pm
Location: Lefroy Road, W12
Victim is an 85 year-old female who was at home and disturbed by the intercom buzzer. She opened the door and was met with a man who asked her if it was ok to take some pictures of her back yard, he said that he needed the photos because he was involved in nearby building work. The victim let him in, as she knew that the work was being carried out. The victim then laid down on the settee whilst the suspect went into her kitchen, a few seconds later the suspect shouted out goodbye and left. Soon after when the victim got up to go to the front door to retrieve her post she noticed that her handbag was on the floor with her purse gone, the victim had left the handbag beside the settee and not near the front door. The suspect picked up the bag emptied it and stole some of it’s contents and left.

The value of the stolen property is £110
The suspect is described as a white male, around 40 years old 5’8” tall, with curly black hair. He was wearing a navy jumper with some sort of white pattern on it.

Incident: Robbery
Date and Time: 30/04/05 00.40am
Location: Rainville Road, W6
The two victims are 19 year-old males. Whilst sitting down by the river on a wall the two victims were approached by the two suspects who were riding mountain bikes. The suspects blocked either side of where the victims were sitting. Suspect one asked the victims for a cigarette while suspect two asked them if they wanted some weed holding bags of cannabis in his hands. Victim one was listening to his Ipod at the time and was asked by suspect one if he could see the Ipod, the victim refused and suspect one produced a small lock/flick knife with a wooden handle, he then tried to take the Ipod from the victims shirt pocket. The victim struggled with the suspect but the suspect pulled the Ipod out whilst holding the victim in a bear hug. Suspect one then waved the knife in the faces of the two victims. Victim one continued to struggle with the suspect whilst being held in a bear hug. The suspect then placed the knife in the victim’s side but not penetrating so the victim stopped trying to get free. Suspect two then asked victim two for his phone, which he gave him. Both suspects left on their bikes. The value of the property stolen is £350.

Suspect one, described as black 16 year-old male about 5’5” with a medium build and dark brown eyes. He was wearing a black hooded waterproof jacket with black trousers and was riding a silver and black mountain bike.

Suspect two, described as a black 15 year-old male about 5’3” thin build; with a short Afro haircut. He was wearing a grey and black top and was riding a red bike that was a thinner bike than the bike suspect one was riding.

Incident: Burglary Artifice
Date and Time: 25/04/05 at 4.50pm
Location: Clifford House, Edith Villa’s, W14

Victim is a 79 year-old female who was at her home when someone buzzed on the intercom system, the victim answered the buzzer and was told by the suspect that he was an engineer and had come to read her metre. The victim let him in and into her home. The suspect walked over to the meter located in the hall and looked at it, the victim however became suspicious as the suspect had no equipment with him, she confronted him and he said that the equipment was in the car. The suspect then left the premises and walked downstairs and got into a silver/grey car.

The suspect is described as a black 26 year-old male, around 6’0”, slim build, thought to be driving a silver/grey car.

Incident: Burglary
Date and Time: 27/04/05 9.00pm
Location: Binden Road, W12
Victim is a 67 year-old female who returned home where all of the lights were switched off. The victim opened her front door and started to make her way inside but as she did so she saw the suspect come running down the stairs and straight past her. The victim asked the suspect what he was doing but got no answer. The victim then went to check on another resident who is an elderly lady, before she went into her bedroom, there she discovered the cabinet drawers had been opened and her jewellery boxes searched. No jewellery appears to have been taken from them however £80 had been taken from on top of the cabinet.

The suspect is a black 20-year old male, around 5’8” slim build

Incident: Burglary
Date and Time: 27/04/05 between 09.00 am and 6.15pm
Location: Shorrolds Road, SW6
Victim is a 33 year-old male who left for work in the morning after he had locked his front door and pulled the outer front door closed on the Yale lock latch. On returning from work the victim had found the outer door closed as usual but when he entered the hall he noticed that his front door had been smashed in splitting the wood surround and smashing the mortice lock. On entering the flat the victim noticed that his living room had been disturbed, the laptop wires were left on the dining table but the laptop had gone, as had a brief case that contained various other items.

The value of the property that was stolen is £591

Date and Time: 26/04/05 9pm
Location: Imperial Road, SW6
Victim is a 31 year-old female who was walking with a friend down Imperial Road. Approaching in the opposite direction was a group, one of whom attempted to grab the victim’s handbag with both hands whilst her friend screamed for help, after failing to get the bag the suspect one run off towards Kings Road. The victim had a small scratch on the back of her hand.

Incident: Robbery
Date & Time: 05/04/05 11.25pm
Location: Benbow Road, W6
Victims is a 42-year-old man who was sitting in a friend’s car waiting for him to return when the drivers door was opened by two men. One of them crouched down and brandished a black handgun towards him, demanding money as he did so. The victim showed him his wallet and the fact that it was empty so the gunman demanded his mobile phone, which he handed over. The suspect also took his friend’s mobile and said “Don’t move or you’ll be dead” before making off towards Sycamore Gardens. The victim was very upset but not harmed. The phones stolen are valued at £350.

One suspect has since been arrested and bailed pending forensic results. He is due to return to the police station on 16/05/05.

Incident: Attempted Burglary
Date & Time: 05/04/05 11.45pm
Location: Chesilton Road, SW6
The victim is a 27-year-old male who was at the rear of the premises watching T.V. in the dark when the doorbell was repeatedly rung. The victim went to check the security monitor prior to opening the door. He discovered that a bag had been placed over the camera. He then heard loud bangs coming from the front door. He turned all the lights on and then heard the suspect running off. On examination he discovered tool marks round one lock and a 4” crack in the door near another. No entry was gained to the premises.

Location: Finlay Street, SW6
Victims are two 19-year-old males who had gone for a walk when they were approached by two men who asked if they had anything for them. One of the victims ran off and was chased by one of the suspect. His pockets were searched but nothing was found. The second suspect held a Swiss Army knife to the throat of the second victim and demanded his phone. The victim asked for his SIM card back and the suspect returned it. Neither was injured. The phone is valued at £150.

The suspects are described as one white male and one black male, both were aged about 20.

Incident: Non-Residential Burglary
Date & Time: 07/04/05 between 10pm and 3am
Location: Old Oak Common Lane, W3
The key holder to a retail premises was informed that the alarm had been activated. He attended and discovered that the cigarette counter had been disturbed. On police arrival the rear door to the premises was found open. Apparently entry had been gained to the premises via an air vent over the door. Once inside the suspects have found a set of keys to the premises and have then gone through the shop floor and taken an unknown quantity of cigarettes from the cigarette counter. Nothing else appears to have been disturbed. This appears to have been done in a hurry as a number of packs were left on the floor as if they had been knocked off the shelf. The estimated value of goods stolen is in the region of £400.

Incident: Aggravated Burglary
Date & Time: 07/04/05 1.20am
Location: Applegarth Road, W14
Victims are two males aged 20 and 23. They were sleeping in the basement flat when five men have entered the premises by forcing the rear door. Both victims were woken by their heads being pushed down onto the bed and being threatened with a silver knife. They were then beaten round the legs with a piece of wood and cut up before the suspects ransacked the flat. This caused a commotion which then alerted the upstairs residents who called police. One victim had various cuts to his head requiring a total of 11 stitches. He also had a puncture wound to his upper abdomen and cuts to his fingers. The other had a one and a half inch cut to his right cheek and bruising to his legs and back. The suspects made off with two mobile phones valued at £80.

The suspects were described as four black and one white male all aged about 20. They were all wearing dark clothing and had their faces covered.

Incident: Burglary Artifice
Date & Time: 08/04/05 7.20pm
Location: Kimbell Gardens, SW6
Victim is a 96-year-old female who went to the door after the doorbell was rung four times consecutively. She called out to see who it was and the male outside replied “Police”. She opened the door and he produced an identification card. She did not see it properly. He said that someone had been arrested for being in her garden. He showed her some money and asked if it was hers. She went and got her purse and he took the money from it telling her he would take it to the police station. Once he had left she realised that something was wrong and called police. Total value of cash stolen £135.

The suspect is described as a white male aged about 20, 5’7” tall with short blond hair. He was wearing a green uniform type jacket.
