Victim dragged along Stamford Brook Avenue for twenty metres
A CCTV still has been issued of two scooter enabled robbers who left a woman with a dislocated shoulder and bruised hand after she tried to stop them stealing a suitcase from the passenger seat of her car.
At approximately 3.20pm on Thursday, 31 August the woman, aged in her twenties, was sat in her car which was parked on Stamford Brook Avenue, W6 near the Shell Petrol station.
Two suspects on a moped drove towards the vehicle before one of them jumped off the moped, opened the passenger front seat and grabbed hold of the suitcase. The female victim held on to the case which contained professional photography equipment she used in her job and a struggle ensued.
The suspect punched the female's hand which caused her to release the bag and then got back on the moped along with his accomplice.
The woman gave chase and bravely grabbed hold of the suitcase again but the moped was driven off dragging the female along for 20 metres before was forced to released it. The suspects drove off towards Stamford Brook Road.
T/DC Rabeneck from Hounslow CID said: "A hard working woman was getting on with her day when these two individuals have targeted her and stole property she used to earn a living. The victim bravely fought for her suitcase but suffered serious injury as the two suspects who wore dark coloured clothing made off and dragged her along the road. I hope the release of the image of them will help identify them."
