After man on stolen motorcycle hit pedestrian in W6
Police are appealing to two men who chased a motorcyclist who failed to stop after hitting a pedestrian in Hammersmith to come forward.
The 23 year-old pedestrian is still in hospital over a month after he was hit by the bike, which was reported stolen.
Officers were called at around 6.10pm on Wednesday, January 30 to the eastbound lane of West Cromwell Road following reports of a motorcycle in collision with a pedestrian.
It is believed that the rider had passed through a red light on North End Road.
The rider of the blue Yamaha FZ6 Fazer, registration LF54 FFK, failed to stop at the scene.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital suffering head and leg injuries. He remains there in a serious but stable condition.
The motorcycle, which had been reported stolen from Watford, Hertfordshire, was subsequently abandoned by Edith Villas further down West Cromwell Road and the rider made off on foot into the Clifford House Estate.
Officers are keen to speak with two men who were seen to chase the rider.
