Brutal Attack Outside Queens Arms pub
A man was left with half his kidney detatched and bruises to his stomach, head and legs after 20 youths kicked and punched him for his mobile phone.
The assault took place last Saturday (November 6) at 10.40pm outside the Queens Arms pub in Greyhound Road.
The 24-year-old white man was sat on a bench outside the venue sending a text on his mobile phone when his phone was snatched from his hands. The man stood up and was pushed and kicked to the ground by twenty black youths, who continued to kick and punch him in his stomach, head and legs.
A few people started to run out of the pub when the youths scattered and left the scene.
Detective Sergeant Glyn Jones said: ""This is a particularly callous and unprovoked attack on a young man by a large group of youths on a young male who was having a night out."

Man Robbed in Hammersmith
A man of 44 was robbed in a private road in Hammersmith after he was followed from the sorting office in Blythe road.
The man had asked his assailants for directions at twenty past midnight on Friday (November 9). Three men then followed him along Hammersmith Road. The 44-year-old ran into a private road at the back of Windsor Way, and threw his rucksack over the wall to stop the robbers from taking it. The men then threatened to punch him unless he handed over his mobile phone.
Knifepoint Robbery in Vereker Road
A man was threatened at knifepoint by a robber in Vereker Road on Friday (November 9) at 11.55pm.
The 33-year-old man said he had nothing when the white man threatened him with a silver-bladed folding knife. A black man kept lookout as the suspect, described as very skinny and pale, started to pat him down. The 33-year-old then began to scream and shout until the two ran away.
Car Vandalised in Letterstone Road
A black Signum Vauxhall was left with 8 scratches on the bonnet after it was parked in Letterstone Road between 4pm and 8am between November 6 and November 7. The car belongs to a 39-year-old man.
Porsche wheels nicked
The front and rear alloy wheels for a Porsche were stolen when it was left parked on Cristowe Road from 8.30pm on November 5 to 06.40am on November 6th.
The 36-year-old owner returned to the car and saw it had been jacked up on a car jack and some rocks.
Teenage woman tries to rob 55-year-old man
An 18-year-old black woman tried to rob a 55-year-old man of his mobile phone in Agate Road on November 4 at 1pm.
The man was walking along Agate Road when the woman crossed the road towards him.
She stopped him and asked him "have you got a mobile?" He replied, "Sorry I don't have one". The man stated that at this point he did not know he was being robbed as she appeared non-threatening and of respectable appearance and that her voice was calm.
She then asked him "Have you got any money?" he replied, "No, I'm afraid not".
He then began to walk away. The woman then pushed her hands into the victim's coat pocket. He grabbed the her hands and pulled them out of his pockets and held her wrists. She shouted at him "let go of my hands". She followed him, and when he turned around to confront him she said: "I'm going to stab you now". The man then told the suspect to go away, which she did, walking towards Hammersmith.
Bag Snatched in Shepherd's Bush
A 25-year-old woman had her bag snatched near Wormholt Park while walking along Uxbridge Road.
The robbery took place at 12.30pm on Sunday (November 11).
Two men were snatched her bag. One was wearing a black hooded top, the second a silver hooded top. They ran off along Askham Road.
