Three year old child hit by BMW X5 or Porsche Cayenne
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fail to stop collision in Hammersmith.
At round 3.50pm on Thursday 11 September a car was in collision with a child on the pedestrian crossing on King Street, W6 near the junction with Goldhawk Road, outside 'Wine Rack'.
The child, a 3-year-old boy who was with an adult, was taken to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital by ambulance where he was treated for a broken leg. He has since been discharged and is at home recovering.
The car, believed to be a dark coloured 4x4 (possibly a BMW X5 or Porsche Cayenne), was travelling eastbound on King Street and did not stop at the scene.
Any witnesses are asked to call the Traffic Serious Casework Unit on 0207 230 4994.
